Nicholas bought a blue betta on Saturday. It's the first pet that is "his" and not Mom's or Dad's. He's going to be responsible for all the feeding and care for this fish. Here's a picture.
We had a long debate about the name. I liked Cathy's suggestion, "Sushi" but that name might cause the fish needless anxiety. Nicholas originally called his fish "Bluey" but now calls him "Prickles" because the fins look somewhat prickly.
